Windsor Place of Wilmington provides a select number of specially-designed apartments and common areas, or Special Care environments, for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other related disorders that require memory care, as well as for those with other special needs. These residents benefit from our protective, familiar, home-like environment and memory care staff that are specially trained to provide Alzheimer's care and memory care services.
When caring for persons with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and related disorders at Windsor Place, we engage residents to the fullest extent possible in a nurturing and safe environment. Our Alzheimer’s and memory care facilities are centered in The Carlysle Suites, where those requiring assisted living memory care are able to engage with staff, participate in activities and enjoy bright, engaging Alzheimer's care facilities. Many of the suites for persons with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and related disorders are situated with access to a secure outdoor garden.
