More than fifty years later, their trial remains the subject of great emotional debate and acrimony. Hear the riveting aspects of the case as Professor Hylander, recently named one of the top 25 teachers in the country, leads this fantastic class lecture. In the fall his lecture series will continue with an investigation of the Lindberg kidnapping and the Scopes Trial.

Judaica Artist Frann Addison

Ms. Addison is a professional artist specializing in Jewish ceremonial objects. Based on research done from her Master’s thesis she has compiled a lecture/slide presentation exploring the origin of these beautiful pieces of art used in the home. Learn about the major holidays and the ceremonial objects used in their observance, while reviewing rituals, superstitions, and religious requirements for individual pieces. Through her art Ms. Addison strives to bring together both Jews and non-Jews and inform them about the rich cultural heritage of Judaism.
